NAFI about financial literacy at SPIEF

NAFI at SPIEF.jpgGuzelia Imaeva, CEO of NAFI Analytical Center, presented the results of the first wave of the All-Russian study of financial literacy in the framework of the joint Project of the Ministry of Finance of Russia and the World Bank at the SPIEF on June 7. According to the recent research, a number of interesting patterns were obtained. For example, Russians who have the highest level of financial literacy are men and women aged from 30 to 45 years old, employed, have family with 1-2 children, living in big cities with a population of 1 000 000 of people and actively using financial products.

Elena Ilina, the adviser of the Department of International Financial Relations of the Ministry of Finance of Russia, Alexander Kolankov, adviser to the Head of the Service for Consumer Rights Protection and Ensuring the Availability of Financial Services of the Bank of Russia, Anna Kuznetsova, Managing Director of the Moscow Exchange's Stock Market, Vladimir Potapov, Head of Brokerage Department and Senior Vice-President of VTB Bank also participated in the event.
